Gershwin An American in Paris

The Grant Park Orchestra performs Gershwin's *An American in Paris* on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance. Conductor Kedrick Armstrong makes his Festival debut with this free concert, which also features Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson's Sinfonietta No. 1, Duke Ellington's *The Three Black Kings*, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's Violin Concerto with soloist Gabriela Lara.
