Genre Book Club for Adults: Speculative Fiction
Join Clearing Branch for our Genre Book Club. Read a book from the selected genre each month, then talk about what you read in our monthly Zoom discussions.
In September, we'll be talking about speculative fiction. Speculative fiction is an umbrella genre of fiction that
turns your "what if" questions into full-fledged narratives. While this broad genre includes a wide variety of subgenres, this month we will be focusing specifically on science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
Can't think of a book? Don't worry, we have you covered. Check out our genre picks list and try a title from there, or visit us at the library - we'll have plenty to choose from. Then join us online for the genre-sation!
How To Attend
This event takes place on Zoom. Only one registration per household is needed. You’ll receive two emails close to the event - one will be an event reminder, and the other will contain a link to the secure Zoom meeting about 24 hours before the meeting. Automatic transcription is included in all CPL events using Zoom.
