Gallery Tour in American Sign Language (Saturdays)
A 45-minute gallery tour delivered entirely in American Sign Language, led by an Art Institute educator who guides the group through 3 to 5 artworks chosen for their potential to spark conversation. The format is participatory—the guide shares context and stories, then invites the group to look closely and offer their own interpretations. Tours run on the second Thursday and third Saturday of every month; this Saturday series meets at the Woman's Board Grand Staircase on the first level at 2:00 PM, from July 18 through December 19. Free with museum admission, no registration required. While all visitors are welcome, ASL interpretation for hearing visitors is not provided.
