Food is Fuel: DIY Grocery Bags

Hand-stitch or hot glue vibrant felt fruit and vegetable decals onto a canvas bag (canvas tote bag, needle and thread, and felt decals included.) The Small Business Saturday tote bag also features a pre-painted chalkboard paint area to write your grocery list on. Never forget what you're shopping for again! Also learn about local small business grocery stores and healthy grocery list ideas with printed materials.


Food is Fuel: Meal Plan Junk Journal
WED, Aug 19th @ 4 — 5 PM
Craft a personalized meal plan junk journal with provided supplies (weekly planner journals, scrapbook paper, stickers, etc.) Learn meal preparation tips and recipes with printed materials. Walk away with a journal to plan meals that help you stay healthy and save money!


Food is Fuel: Bento Boxes
WED, Aug 12th @ 4 — 5 PM
Explore the benefits of preparing meals in advance by preparing a “bento box,” a Japanese-style lunch box. A variety of healthy and delicious ingredients provided. Participants will take home their very own bento box that they may use to pack snacks for work or school.

For teens and young adults ages 17 to 25.
