Film Screening: West Side Story (2021)

The Coleman branch screens the 2021 adaptation of *West Side Story* on Wednesday, September 23, from 5:00 to 7:45 PM. Steven Spielberg’s take on the classic musical follows the Sharks and Jets through a familiar story of forbidden love and gang rivalry in 1950s New York. Rated PG-13 and running 156 minutes, the film will include English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. Part of the library system’s Community Cinema series, with many other screenings across Chicago.
