Film Screening: The Campaign - 2012

A free Sunday-afternoon screening of the 2012 political satire *The Campaign*, in which Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis square off as rival candidates in a small South Carolina congressional district. Directed by Jay Roach, the film skewers the absurdities of modern campaigning with a familiar ensemble of comedy veterans. The 85-minute, R-rated movie screens at the Pullman branch on Sunday, November 1, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, with English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. Part of the library system’s Community Cinema series, this is an easy, no-cost way to spend a fall afternoon.
