Film Screening: Sarah's Oil (2025)

A Thursday afternoon screening of the 2025 film *Sarah's Oil*, which tells the true story of Sarah Rector, an 11-year-old African American girl who became one of the nation's first Black female millionaires after oil was discovered on her Oklahoma land in the early 1900s. The screening runs from 2 to 4 PM on August 6 at the Clearing branch. English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing are available. Part of the library system's Community Cinema series.
