Film Screening: Gravity (2013)

Gravity (2013) screens as part of the One Book, One Chicago season built around Samantha Harvey’s *Orbital*, pairing the novel’s quiet meditation on space with Alfonso Cuarón’s tense survival thriller. The 91-minute film follows two astronauts adrift after debris strikes their shuttle, and it plays at Albany Park on Tuesday, November 17, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Refreshments and snacks are served, and English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing will be available. Free, as with the rest of the library’s Community Cinema series.
