Film Screening: Apollo 13 (1995)

The Chicago Public Library's One Book, One Chicago season continues with a screening of Ron Howard's fact-based drama *Apollo 13*. Following the 1970 lunar mission whose oxygen tank explosion turned a routine flight into a desperate survival struggle for astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise, and Jack Swire, the film is a tight, tense chronicle of ingenuity under pressure.
