Fed Up: What Evolution Reveals about Food, Diet, Health, and Eating Well
What to eat, and why it feels so complicated? Evolutionary biologist and Harvard professor Daniel Lieberman addresses that question in a talk drawn from his new book *Fed Up*, using evolutionary biology, anthropology, and physiology to cut through the noise around modern diets. The conversation runs Saturday, November 14, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the Field Museum. Lieberman argues that humans evolved to eat almost anything to survive, not to optimize longevity—a perspective that helps explain why no single diet is flawless. The event is free with required registration; pre-registered guests also receive free basic admission to the museum. The talk will be presented in person and live-streamed.
