Family STEAM: Heroes Among Us: Manuel Perez, Jr.

A family STEAM program at Toman Branch that combines local history with a hands-on craft: kids learn about Manuel Perez, Jr., a Mexican American soldier who fought in World War II, using reproductions of archival materials, then build a parachute together. The session runs Thursday, October 1, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Free and open to the public, with a request-ahead window for sign language interpretation.
