Family Camping at Winnemac

A family camping introduction in the heart of Lincoln Square, with Chicago Park District staff handling the heavy lifting: tents, sleeping bags, pads, dinner, and breakfast are all provided for up to six people per group. The program runs from 3 PM on Saturday, August 8, through 11 AM on Sunday, August 9, at Winnemac Park. Participants learn the basics—setting up tents, cooking over a campfire—without needing to own any gear. A packing list and schedule arrive by email the week before.
