Family Camping at Steelworkers

Family Camping at Steelworkers Park is a rare chance to spend a night under the stars without owning any gear. The Chicago Park District provides tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, dinner, and breakfast for up to six people per registration. The program runs from 2 PM on Saturday, August 15, through 11 AM on Sunday, August 16; activities include a sunset climb at the park's climbing wall, campfire cooking, and tent setup instruction from staff. A packing list and full schedule arrive by email the week before.
