Family Camping at Lincoln

Family Camping at Lincoln Park turns a backyard-adjacent park into a genuine overnight basecamp, with Park District staff handling the heavy lifting: tents, sleeping bags, pads, dinner, and breakfast are all provided for up to six people. The program runs from 3 PM on Saturday, August 29, through 11 AM on Sunday, August 30, and focuses on teaching real camping skills — setting up shelter, cooking over a campfire — without requiring any gear of your own.
