
Fall Prevention for Older Adults
A practical session for older adults and their caregivers, led by the UIC Fall Prevention Lab, covering the risk factors behind falls and the evidence-based techniques that reduce them. The presentation focuses on improving balance, mobility, and cognitive function through approaches designed to keep daily movement safe and independence intact. It takes place Tuesday, October 27, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the Manning branch, part of the Chicago Public Library system.
