English Conversation Practice Group

A weekly English conversation practice group meets at the Manning branch on Friday afternoons from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, organized in partnership with Literacy Chicago. Participants build speaking confidence through lively discussions about current events, life in the city, and other everyday topics. The focus is on conversational vocabulary and practical communication skills, not formal instruction. New attendees register online with Literacy Chicago before their first session. Spanish-language registration support is available, and sign language interpretation can be requested with 14 business days' notice.
