Empowerment and Connection Through Piñatas at Calumet

The activity is to make our own piñatas, to take the time to make something for ourselves, whether it will last or not. First participants will be guided to write down their own accomplishments or affirmations to themselves, big or small, onto strips of paper. Once done, participants will keep that to the side and start making their own piñatas. This event is part of Calumet Park's Hispanic Heritage Celebration.
