DuSable Black History Museum Field Trip for Older Adults

A field trip from the South Chicago branch to the DuSable Black History Museum focuses on Black (Africanist) aesthetics in dance through the work of Josephine Baker and Eartha Kitt, designed for older adults in partnership with Mather. Transportation is included; participants meet in front of the library at 9:15 AM on Wednesday, November 11 (the library doesn’t open until noon, and there will be no access to seating or bathrooms beforehand). The program runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with return to the branch around 12:45 PM. Offline registration is required — stop by the branch or call (312) 747-8065.
