Du Evenings: Featuring Kevin Powell with Sheran Goodspeed Keyto

A special evening of poetry, storytelling, and soulful music at the DuSable Black History Museum on Friday, October 16, from 7 to 9 PM. Acclaimed author and cultural commentator Kevin Powell, a GRAMMY-nominated poet with 17 books to his name, reads from his latest collection *A Poem for Evangeline, And Other Songs* as part of his Chicago book tour. He's joined by soul singer Sheran Goodspeed Keyton, whose blend of jazz, blues, and neo-soul rounds out the program. The evening is a focused, low-key celebration of creative expression rather than a high-production performance.
