Dolores Huerta, Latine and Labor Day Zines

On Thursday, September 10, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, the Uptown library hosts a zine-making and collage workshop for high school teens that connects social justice and Latine culture. The session falls the day after Labor Day and a week before Latine Cultural Month, with a focus on the work of activist Dolores Huerta. Participants make zines, collage, and junk journal entries on social justice topics. Free, but note that accessibility accommodation requests need to be submitted 14 business days ahead.
