Documentary Club: Time Passages with Director Kyle Henry
A Documentary Club screening of *Time Passages*, filmmaker Kyle Henry's personal documentary about his mother Elaine's late-stage dementia, shot against the backdrop of a pandemic and drawn from decades of family home movies. The 86-minute film uses Kodachrome and Super-8 footage to explore complicated family bonds, memory, and grief — and Henry, who is touring with the work specifically to talk with audiences, joins for a Q&A afterward. The screening takes place on Monday, August 24, from 5:30 to 7:45 PM at the Rogers Park branch. Free, but registration is active.
