Documentary Club: Against the Current with Filmmakers Joshua Jackson and Asif Wilson

Documentary Club presents a screening of *Against the Current*, followed by a discussion with filmmakers Joshua Jackson and Asif Wilson. The film follows Chicago community organizer Kyla as she travels across Illinois to learn about Black resistance throughout history, discovering how Black communities have persistently pushed back against oppressive currents. The screening takes place on Saturday, October 24, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing will be available. Registration is active.
