Curtain’s Up on Redtwist Theatre

A behind-the-scenes look at Redtwist Theatre’s darkly comic play “Prayer Circle,” kicking off National Friends of Libraries Week on Sunday, October 18, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM in Edgewater. Cast members perform a scene, followed by a Q&A with director Dusty Brown and playwright Erik Gernand, who also serves as Redtwist’s resident playwright. The conversation covers the characters, creative team, and development process, and serves as a prelude to the Edgewater Historical Society’s Fall Salon Series later that week. The play itself runs through November 8 at 1044 W. Bryn Mawr. This program is the first in a Friends series spotlighting Edgewater theatre companies, in partnership with the Edgewater Historical Society & Museum and its current Storefront Theatres exhibit.
