Cuatro Mujeres: Nina Simone’s Four Women at Austin Town Hall

Old Town School of Folk Music presents the fourth installment of its NOITP summer series at Austin Town Hall Park on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This free 60-minute performance places Nina Simone’s “Peaches” in dialogue with Obba, a feminine Orisha from the Afro-Cuban Lucumí tradition, featuring Angel Bat Dawid, Fred Jackson Jr., and choreography by Ayesha Jaco.
