Craft Your Own Kite with Windy City Kite Club

A kite-making workshop at the Northtown library on Wednesday, October 7, from 4:30 to 5:45 PM, run by the Windy City Kite Club. They provide the materials and instructions, plus a short history of kites, and each participant walks away with a working kite. Organizers suggest bringing your new kite to the Warren Park Kite Festival the following Sunday. For ages 6 and up; registration closes by 2:30 PM on the day of the event.
