The National Museum of Mexican Art hosts a performance by Juan Díes, co-founder of the GRAMMY-nominated Sones de México Ensemble, that traces the Mexican corrido tradition through live music, bilingual storytelling, and projected visuals. Díes focuses on themes of courage and hope as part of the Semi-quincentennial programming. The show runs Saturday evening, August 29, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on the lower-west side. Free admission.
