Cookie Club

A kids-only book club at the Independence branch that skips the assigned-reading pressure. On Thursday, November 5, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, readers ages 6 and up can bring whatever they want to read, eat cookies, and optionally talk about it with the group. Related games are available too. Part of the Chicago Public Library’s Jump into Reading initiative.
