Cookie Club

The Cookie Club at Independence Library is a low-key, kids-only book club that meets Thursday, October 8, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. The premise is simple: readers 6 and up spend an hour with whatever book they want, with the option to chat about it with the group. Cookies are provided, and there are related games on hand for anyone who wants them. Part of Chicago Public Library's Jump into Reading initiative.
