Contra Dance to Baba Yaga's Stew at Pottawattomie

A free, family-friendly contra dance at Pottawattomie Park on Friday evening, October 9, from 6 to 8 PM, led by the band Baba Yaga's Stew. No experience or partner is needed — a caller teaches each dance on the spot, and experienced dancers help newcomers join in. The band draws from Irish, Thai, Romanian, Peruvian, Indian, and other traditions, making this a low-key, intergenerational way to spend an evening outdoors.
