This class is for beginners and people who want to build more confidence in a non-judgmental environment. This class specifically focuses on the computer program Microsoft Word.

In this class, you will learn how to navigate a document with the cursor, highlight content within a document, format text in several different ways, and save documents to specific folders. We'll be using the library’s computers, so no need to bring anything with you.

Late Arrivals: Because this class is interactive, doors will be closed at 1:45. We will not be able to accommodate patrons who arrive after this time.

Don’t have time to make this class, but interested in learning some more computer basics? Check out some hands-on tutorials through Chicago Digital Learn. No library card necessary!
