Composting in Hegewisch

Want to take advantage of Chicago’s Food Scrap Drop-Off Program? The bins are directly behind the Hegewisch Branch! Composting keeps food scraps out of landfills, reduces harmful greenhouse gas emissions, and recycles nutrients that enrich soil.
