Community Lovelines at Austin Town Hall

Zahra Glenda Baker presents Community Lovelines, a series of events celebrating community, storytelling, and wellness. The first two events feature captivating storytelling and soulful vocals by Performance duo: In the Spirit, a collaboration between Zahra and Emily Lansana. These events also include wellness practitioners, exhilarating dance, poetry, artmaking, story swapping and community resource sharing. The series culminates in a dynamic final performance with The Sacred Encounters Performance Ensemble, a seven-piece group blending music, storytelling, and community engagement with the story of Callie Guy House. Join us for these inspiring events that foster connection, healing, and expressions of community care.
