Coffee and Connections / Café y Conexiones
Coffee and Connections / Café y Conexiones is a drop-in afternoon at the Little Village branch library on Wednesday, October 14, from noon to 3 PM, pairing coffee with information about library resources and social work support. This month's session is co-hosted by Taller de José, which offers accompaniment for people navigating health, legal, housing, and social systems, and TASC, a nonprofit focused on recovery support. Attendees can pick up free opioid test kits and Naloxone, along with details on the organizations' services. The event is bilingual (English and Spanish), and accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks' notice.
