Coding Club / Club de Programación

A free, interactive workshop at West Lawn where kids and teens ages 6 to 17 can pick up the basics of programming on Scratch, a beginner-friendly coding platform. The Saturday, September 26 session runs from noon to 1 PM and requires no prior experience — just a willingness to experiment, whether that means building a simple game, making an animation, or learning something new. Registration is required by the start of the event, and because Chicago Public Library can't collect personal information online from kids under 13, a parent or guardian's email address must be used to sign up. The workshop is offered in English and Spanish.
