City-Wide Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert at Jefferson

The City-Wide Symphony Orchestra, an all-volunteer community ensemble that has been active since 1947, holds its 79th Season Holiday Concert at the Copernicus Center on Saturday, December 12, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The 75-piece orchestra plays holiday movie classics, and the evening is pitched as a family affair: tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for seniors, and free for kids 12 and under. Doors open at 6:00 PM. The concert is presented by the Jefferson Memorial Park Advisory Council and the Chicago Park District.
