Children's Craft Night: Junk Journals

Children's Craft Night at Whitney M. Young, Jr. in Chatham offers a hands-on session where kids 6 and up make junk journals from repurposed and secondhand materials. All supplies are provided, and the evening runs from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 8. A low-key way to turn found materials into something personal while meeting other kids, though registration details aren't listed in the source.
