Chicago Through Kids’ Eyes with Author Alina Dizik

Chicago Through Kids’ Eyes pairs local journalist Alina Dizik’s *Let’s Meet Chicago* with a hands-on workshop for tweens and families at the Obama Presidential Center on Saturday, December 5, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Participants explore the city through stories and movement, then turn reporter themselves — conducting interviews and making art that celebrates their own neighbors. Registration is required by the day before the event, and because CPL can’t collect personal info from kids under 13 online, a parent or guardian’s email must be used to sign up. A practical choice for families who want to turn a Saturday afternoon into something that feels like real journalism.
