Chicago Poet Laureate Mayda del Valle: eL Cien Poetry Workshop

A poetry workshop led by Chicago Poet Laureate Mayda del Valle, focused on writing an “eL Cien”—a 100-word poem composed of five couplets of ten words each, meant to capture the sensory experience of a place. Participants will work with the required phrase “I am” in the first or last couplet.
