Chicago Astronomer Sky Viewing

Chicago Astronomer brings telescopes to Walker for an evening of sky viewing on Thursday, November 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The group, an educational organization active since 2004, sets up to look at the sun, moon, and other celestial objects — no experience needed, all ages welcome. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the program moves inside for a presentation instead. This event ties into the 2026 One Book, One Chicago season, which explores Samantha Harvey's novel *Orbital*. Free, with accessibility accommodations available by request at least 14 business days in advance.
