Chicago Astronomer at Portage

The Chicago Astronomer series brings professional-grade telescopes and guided stargazing to Portage Park on Saturday, August 15, from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. Each session includes an educational presentation on what's visible that evening, hands-on telescope instruction, and views of planets, stars, and deep-space objects. Designed for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts, this is a solid, low-key option for a summer evening — weather permitting, and all ages are welcome.
