Chess for Beginners

A free, open chess session for beginners at Jefferson Park on Thursday, September 17, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Boards and pieces are provided, so no need to bring anything — just show up to learn the basics or get a little practice in. Registration is active, and accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks' notice.
