Celebrate Diwali at the Field Museum!

The Field Museum hosts its second annual Diwali celebration on Sunday, November 15, from 12:30 to 5:00 PM, honoring the Festival of Lights with an afternoon of South Asian cultural programming. The lineup includes classical Bharatanatyam by Mandala Arts, Raas-Garba from U Chicago Raas, Bollywood and folk dance by Rhythm Roots (with performers ages 6 to 14), and a performance by the Latin Laddoos group from the Latin School of Chicago. Beyond the stage, there's a free henna station, a conversation on Ayurveda, and tables where local community organizations share information about South Asian cultures and traditions. All activities are included with regular museum admission.
