Castle Exhibit

The Chicago Children's Museum's rotating Castle exhibit reimagines the fairy-tale theme with a modern, interactive twist. Designed by the museum's own staff, the space invites kids to dress up as royalty, guard a dungeon, prepare a feast, haggle at a market, and search for treasure — all activities meant to spark imaginative play and storytelling. The exhibit runs Saturday through Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM, from May 23 through January 10, 2027. Admission is $21 for Illinois residents, $25 for non-residents, with a $5 Museums for All rate available.
