Butterfly Release

The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry marks the start of monarch migration season with a daytime celebration in the Museum Garden on Friday, August 28. Master Gardeners and volunteers lead butterfly releases, share information on tagging and migration patterns, and set out nature-themed optical illusions called thaumatropes. The event runs from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and admission is included with museum entry.
