Books on the Chopping Block

Books on the Chopping Block brings City Lit Theater's live dramatic readings to Edgewater on Saturday, October 10, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. The 60-minute performance, part of Banned Books Week, adapts excerpts from the top 10 most frequently challenged books of 2025, presented as a countdown from 10 to 1. Following the readings, the audience can join a discussion and Q&A. The event is held in partnership with Friends of the Edgewater Library, and accessibility accommodations are available upon request with 14 business days' notice.
