Blood Drive with the American Red Cross

The American Red Cross hosts a blood drive at Independence on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Donors help the community by giving blood; registration is required online or by phone. Bring a photo ID or donor card, and eat a healthy meal with extra fluids beforehand.
