Authentic Japanese Taiko Drumming and Dance at Steelworkers

Steelworkers Park hosts a full afternoon of back-to-school activities and giveaways from noon to 4 PM on Saturday, August 8, capped by a performance from TSUKASA TAIKO, one of the larger community taiko drumming programs in the Midwest. The group's mission focuses on preserving and evolving traditional Japanese drumming and dance as a cultural legacy. The drummers take the stage at 4 PM for a one-hour set that's free to watch as part of the afternoon's programming.
