ASOR-ISAC Teacher Workshop: Bring Archaeology to your Classroom

The American Society of Overseas Research and the Institute for the Study of Ancient Cultures host a hands-on workshop designed for K–12 educators, held Saturday morning, November 21, from 10 AM to noon at the Hilton Hotel. The first hour focuses on artifact analysis using replica objects—teaching strategies for helping students make observations, form inferences, and ask meaningful questions about material evidence. The second hour introduces ISAC's Museum in a Box program, which loans artifact replicas to classrooms, alongside available lesson plans and teacher resources from both organizations. Registration is $30.
