Arts in the Dark Parade at Grant

Arts in the Dark returns to Grant Park for its 12th year, a Halloween-season parade that leans into the holiday’s reputation as the "artist's holiday." The evening spectacle brings together Chicago cultural institutions, youth programs, and independent makers who build the floats, giant puppets, and performances that draw a crowd of 100,000. This year the route shifts back to its original Columbus Drive footprint, heading north from Balbo to Jackson, after outgrowing the State Street corridor. The parade steps off Saturday, October 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Presented by LUMA8 with the City of Chicago and DCASE, with support from the Chicago Loop Alliance and Goodwill of Greater Milwaukee and Chicago.
