America: Songs of Protest and Freedom at Clarendon

On Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 5:00-6:30 PM, Clarendon Community Center Park hosts "America: Songs of Protest and Freedom," a multi-genre concert marking the nation's 250th anniversary. Written and narrated by journalist Cheryl Corley, the performance features a band led by singer/songwriter Lucy Smith and includes works by Walt Whitman, Curtis Mayfield, John Lennon, and Beyoncé. Admission is free.
